Zenca

Why I built it

Most of us navigate money in the dark. Not for lack of intelligence, but because no one ever taught us how it actually works.

For more than a decade into my career, I was no different. I earned, I spent, I saved, but I never really invested. I could pour hundreds of hours into financial models at work and not spend two on my own money. What finally changed wasn’t a crisis. It was the discomfort of not knowing where I’d end up, crossing a threshold I could no longer ignore.

That discomfort turned into curiosity, and curiosity into passion. The deeper I went, the clearer it became that money is far more than instruments to buy and sell. It is monetary systems, incentives, history, psychology, and the quietly dysfunctional relationship most of us have with it. The real turning point was a single decision: to stop outsourcing my financial understanding and take responsibility for it. That one choice changed my life.

Zenca is my attempt to hand that clarity to others. It exists to make money make sense: to strip away the jargon, hype, and anxiety, and explain why things work the way they do, what deserves your attention, and what doesn’t. It isn’t financial advice. It’s financial education, written from the perspective of an individual investor, for anyone who wants to take ownership of their money, whatever they have and however they invest it. It’s the one place I try to hold both worlds, fiat and crypto, in a single coherent way of thinking.

Because the hardest part of money isn’t the math. It’s the mirror: your habits, your attention, your emotions, the someday that never comes. You don’t need more intelligence. You need more intention. That is what Zenca is really about.
